Not only is pirated software purchase illegal, such a deal might be pennywise and pound foolish, since you may not be able to get customer service with it (especially important for tax software, since there will surely be multiple updates between now and filing season.)įurther setting off alarm bells, when I look at the site linked in the OP, I don't see the lock icon and https in my browser's address bar.
